Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Skypoint School, a specialist provision catering for pupils with complex social and emotional needs and autism.

About the Role:
  • Support vulnerable and challenging children in achieving a high standard of attainment.
  • Work effectively with teachers to identify opportunities to help children develop their skills and confidence.
  • Be flexible, innovative, and responsive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have a passion for working with young people and a commitment to making a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to pupils with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver tailored educational programs.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in working with children with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations.
  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative.
