Your Responsibilities

We are in search of an Automation Systems Specialist who will undertake the following tasks:

  • Development, Testing & Implementation of PLC HMI and SCADA software on Siemens and Rockwell platforms.
  • Documentation of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - including Software Design Specifications (SDS), Functional Design Specifications (FDS), etc.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams and clients.
  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of software.
  • Visit treatment facilities to implement the validated software.
  • Facilitate client approvals on documentation and ensure data backups.
  • Provide support for service inquiries and device configurations.
  • Coordinate project activities both onsite and offshore.

Essential Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of Siemens and Rockwell PLC/HMI/SCADA system design, development, programming, testing, simulation, and implementation.
  • Familiarity with the process industry, particularly in Water and Wastewater Treatment.
  • Experience in site implementation, including FAT/SAT.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license.
  • Hands-on experience with WinCC 7.5.
  • Role involves travel to sites and collaboration with client representatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Understanding of networking and strategic telemetry systems is a plus.
