Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our well-established Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team on a full-time basis. The team provides evidence-based diagnostic assessments to children and young people under 18 with concerns regarding Autism Spectrum Conditions or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
About the RoleThis post would suit those with an interest in neurodiversity, who enjoy using assessment and observation skills to formulate complex presentations, and working with children, young people, and within a multidisciplinary team. The role offers opportunities to develop skills in supervision, leadership, research, teaching, training, and service development.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting psychological assessments and interventions using evidence-based models and theories.
- Supervising assistant psychologists and other team members.
- Working collaboratively with non-psychologist colleagues, professionals from other agencies, and carers.
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with:
- A doctoral qualification in clinical psychology.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Appropriate safeguarding training.
- Good communication and psychometric assessment skills.
- Experience of assisting in training of Post Graduate Clinical Psychology Trainees.
The service offers a wide range of development opportunities and is committed to the career development of its staff. All relevant training will be offered as necessary, and clinical supervision will be provided by one of the Senior Clinical Psychologists within the team.
