Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at First Military Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Supervise the set-up, operation, and running of the Packing and Warehouse departments, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to customer specification.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain close communication links with Scheduling, Client Services, and the Production Management team to ensure seamless workflow and problem resolution.
  • Shift Handover and Reporting: Ensure comprehensive and informative shift reports are written and provided to the Production Manager, detailing performance and any issues.
  • Performance Monitoring: Provide KPI reports to the Production Manager, highlighting employee efficiency, stock utilization, and departmental performance.
  • Problem-Solving and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in departmental processes, systems, and procedures, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Team Management: Supervise and allocate tasks to staff members and machinery, ensuring efficient and cost-effective processing of work.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience working in a fast-paced production environment, with knowledge of the digital print market.
  • Skills: Strong people management and workforce planning skills, with the ability to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build good professional relationships and work independently.
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, with the ability to carry out administrative duties and complex challenges.
What We Offer
