Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and create innovative womenswear designs that meet the company's brand standards and customer expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with current fashion trends and forecasts, incorporating them into design concepts.
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure design quality and consistency, ensuring timely delivery of products.
  • Create presentations and mood boards to effectively communicate design ideas to stakeholders.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials that showcase the company's brand and products.
  • Make recommendations for improvements based on customer feedback and market research, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Participate in trade shows and fashion events to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Senior Womenswear Fashion Designer should possess:

  • A degree in fashion design or a related field.
  • Extensive womenswear fashion design experience (5 years+ experience).
  • Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various departments.
  • A strong understanding of the fashion industry and current trends, with a creative mind and a keen eye for detail.
