Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead to join our team at Lineage Logistics. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the performance of maintenance work, including preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Carry out and register mandatory inspections.
  • Assess and develop technical activities and talent within the designated site.
  • Provide advice and guidance to the Site Manager on recruitment, termination, promotion, and salary/payroll issues.
  • Conduct performance interviews and appraisals.
  • Manage spare parts and ordering procedures.
  • Ensure optimal stock levels and efficient handling of malfunctions/repairs.
  • Work closely with Site Management to coordinate actions and activities.
  • Administer company policies and manage local SOPs.
  • Investigate accidents and ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Supervise, train, and provide performance feedback to the Maintenance Team.
  • Resolve breakdowns, reduce downtime, and improve plant reliability.

Requirements:

  • Multi-skilled with electrical and mechanical qualifications, NVQ level 3 or apprenticeship training, and mechanical experience.
  • Minimum of five years of successful distribution and warehouse engineering/maintenance management and leadership experience.
  • Business background with competency in maintaining/engineering functional areas of refrigeration, MHE, building maintenance, warehouse automation, IT systems, and supply chain optimization.
  • Experience with automation and working at height.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Willingness to learn and improve skills.
  • Ability to drive.
