About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Care UK. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Case manage residents and liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to create and deliver personalized care plans.
  • Administer and record medication, maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential risks.
  • Work closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and improve services, ensuring a high-quality care experience for residents.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to allocate and delegate work effectively.
  • A good understanding of care planning processes and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Experience in administering medication or a willingness to undertake training.
  • A natural ability to empathize with residents and their families, providing a supportive and caring environment.
