Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at learndirect Limited. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting data-driven decision-making by analyzing and interpreting data from various sources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation
    • Gather, clean, and prepare data from various sources to ensure data quality and accuracy.
    • Manage and maintain datasets in Google BigQuery and Power BI, optimizing queries and storage for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Business Intelligence and Reporting
    • Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that effectively communicate key metrics and insights to stakeholders.
    • Utilize Power BI to create compelling data visualizations that provide actionable insights and facilitate decision-making.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, IT, and operational teams, to understand their data needs and provide insights.
    • Assist in automating data retrieval and reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Professional Development
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for data management, analysis, and security.
    • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing data models in Power BI.
  • Proficiency in using Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Understanding of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with data cleaning and transformation techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - desirable.
