Job Description

**Job Title:** Primary Teaching Assistant

**Job Type:** Full-time, Permanent

**About the Role:** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary school in Colchester.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support teachers in the classroom to deliver high-quality education to students
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience working with vulnerable individuals or SEN
  • A calm, patient manner and ability to react positively to a fast-changing environment
  • UK Graduates welcome to apply
  • Desired - previous experience working in a UK school either in a primary or secondary setting
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
  • Level 2 or 3 in EYFS

**Eligibility Criteria:**

  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
