Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic circuits, ensuring high-integrity and power-dense electronics.
  • Analyze electronic circuits to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
  • Generate requirements for electronic systems, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Capture schematics and designs, utilizing industry-standard tools and techniques.
  • Provide PCB layout advice and review, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Select and review components, considering factors such as reliability, cost, and performance.
  • Take on varied engineering tasks to support projects and programs, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, effectively communicating technical information to stakeholders.
  • Interface with customers on technical and project issues, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Document work in line with local operating procedures, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives, driving process enhancements and innovation.
Requirements
  • Minimum HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in electronics manufacturing processes and techniques.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Quick learner with a flexible and adaptable approach, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Basic knowledge of analogue and digital design, with experience in schematic capture and drawing review.
  • Circuit simulation experience, with a strong understanding of PCB layout supervision.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in the Defence/Aerospace or safety-regulated environment, with a strong understanding of industry-specific requirements.
  • Experience in the Naval/Maritime domain, with knowledge of relevant technologies and systems.
