We are seeking a Financial Strategy Partner to become an integral part of our team in the Worcestershire office. This role is pivotal in steering the execution of financial and business strategies. As we embark on our ambitious growth trajectory, this finance position will be crucial in influencing decision-making across the Commercial and Operations sectors, fostering growth and profitability for the organization. A significant aspect of this role will be to enhance the finance function through effective business collaboration and partnership.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Preparation and analysis of monthly management reports.
- Oversight and evaluation of standard costs, variances, and transfer pricing.
- Facilitating commercial decision-making through the assessment of costs, margins, and pricing strategies.
- Delivering monthly performance reviews to various operational sites and collaborating to enhance financial performance metrics.
- Partnering with the business to create accountable forecasts and budgets.
- Providing financial insights and analysis to colleagues across all divisions.
- Identifying and executing process enhancements to improve quality and efficiency within the finance team.
- Advancing the reporting capabilities of the Finance team through collaboration with finance colleagues and other departments.
Key Performance Metrics:
1. Timely and precise generation of performance management reports.
2. Strong collaboration with various business units to enhance overall performance.
3. Delivery of pertinent financial data to support business decisions, leading to optimal financial outcomes.
4. Comprehensive understanding and ownership of financial budgets, forecasts, and actual performance by the business.
5. Enhanced reporting processes, with automation where feasible to allow more time for analysis and review.
Required Qualifications:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified or part-qualified finalist level.
- A collaborative team-oriented individual.
- Self-driven and proactive in addressing challenges.
- Able to maintain a structured and logical approach while being adaptable to shifting priorities.
- Strong capabilities in management and performance accounting.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on deadlines.
- Proficient IT skills are preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: £40,000 - £50,000
- 10% performance bonus
