Overtime compensation at time and a half after 40 hours

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare vehicles for MOT, conduct six-weekly inspections, and perform routine maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, providing effective solutions.
- Ensure all vehicles are maintained to high standards and are roadworthy.
- Offer off-site support for vehicle breakdowns as needed.
- Participate in an on-call rota every other week (additional compensation available).
- Maximize fleet readiness and ensure vehicles are consistently available for use.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as an HGV mechanic.
- Valid HGV Class 2 license is essential.
- Thorough understanding of HGV servicing and repair procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to working hours is required.
- Willingness to assist with various tasks within the organization when necessary.
