We are a central team within RWEST IT, with members located across multiple locations. Our work horizon ensures the support of various applications, analysis of systems, research of problems, maintenance, coordination, cloud native development, and the development of in-house and external application tools in the energy market.
Endur Analyst Role
The Endur Analyst role is focused on providing stability to Endur by monitoring the infrastructure and helping the business resolve day-to-day issues. Responsibilities include ensuring the reliability of systems by performing system problem solving, meeting with users to define business needs, and working closely with business and IT stakeholders in quick issue resolutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operations support by analyzing systems, researching problems, and maintaining/ coordinating different applications.
- Continuously improve processes through innovative ideas, enhanced automations/monitoring using platforms like Elastic, Grafana, etc.
- Perform daily operations (infrastructure and health checks) and business support to identify potential root causes for failures and coordinate fixes with Development teams.
- Work with ION - ENDUR and ensure end-of-day data/workflows management.
- Gather specific requirements from business and embedded IT teams to provide solutions via working in incidents and service requests.
- Coordinate and work closely with business and IT stakeholders in quick issue resolutions in the context of Incident Management, Problem Management, maintenance patching activities, and configurations/User Management.
- Work in a DevOps model with development teams and business stakeholders to develop enhancements and coordination.
- Coordinate and contribute Bug Fixes, Change Requests, and enhancements in close collaboration with ETRM stakeholders.
- Be ready for shift rotations with 24*7 on-call and occasional travel required.
- Involve in the migration of legacy applications to Cloud-based projects (AWS)/Multi-account setup, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or higher degree in IT/Computer Science or similar.
- Basic knowledge in ETRM domain and experience in ENDUR across different modules like Trading Manager, Market Manager, etc.
- Experience in working with functionalities of APM, Simulations, EOD batch/risk reports, and trade life cycle.
- Experience in working on system upgrades, regression tests, bug-tracking with ION.
- Experience in at least one scripting (PowerShell, JVS, OpenComponents) and database (Oracle, RDS) language.
- Ability to work well under pressure and strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability with good analytical problem-solving skills and soft skills to communicate and collaborate with various teams.
- Ability to deliver end-to-end, such as gather requirements, conduct analysis, implement use cases, test, and deploy to production in an agile environment.
- Interest in expanding IT Operations in Endur and introducing best practices and DevOps.
Advantageous, but not a must
- Functional and business knowledge in Endur across Front, Risk, and Back office functions.
- Knowledge in report builder and Microsoft SQL and able to create and understand queries.
- Knowledge/working experience of automation using Python and visualization of features using Elastic/Grafana.
- Knowledge/experience in agile concepts as Scrum/Kanban.
