This Interim Tax Accountant (Corporation Tax / IR35) role will oversee tax matters, leases, and insurance for EA First Compass House, a leading wholesaler to the construction industry.

As Interim Tax Accountant (Corporation Tax / IR35), your duties will include:

  • Liaising with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Submission of PAYE settlement agreements and working to improve data accuracy.
  • Corporation Tax computations - using OneSource Tax Software, as well as preparation and review of supporting schedules.
  • Calculating the quarterly payment on accounts due for corporation tax.
  • Collection of information from other group companies to enable accurate CT600 returns.
  • Ensuring compliance with IR35, including contract assessments.
  • Maintaining and updating the tax risk register.

The ideal candidate for this Interim Tax Accountant (Corporation Tax / IR35) role will have:

  • Demonstrable experience of HMRC submissions and Corporation Tax (Essential), as well as employment taxes (PSA, IR35) & VAT.

A competitive day rate with flexible working arrangements and an early finish on Friday.
