As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing excavation, backfill, and reinstatement works on Faults, Small Service, and Unmetered Connections work streams within our SPN Distribution Licence area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of yourself and others by performing risk assessments and maintaining safe working practices.
  • Operate hand-held IT equipment to receive job instructions and record site information.
  • Ensure the quality of works meets current procedures and guaranteed service standards.
  • Secure vehicles, tools, plant, and equipment.
  • Work independently or as a lead person in a 2-person excavation team.
  • Undertake other reasonable responsibilities as required by the Company.
  • Represent UK Power Networks as an ambassador.

Requirements:

  • NRSWA Units
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • C1 Minimum Driving licence
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Driver CPC
  • Towing Licence
  • Machine Operator ticket
