YHA South Downs is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean and comfortable stay.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and prepare bedrooms between guest departures and arrivals, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all shower and toilet areas, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.
- Keep the hostel reception and social areas clean and tidy, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
- Efficiently and effectively undertake housekeeping tasks, maintaining consistent cleanliness standards throughout the hostel.
- Comply with YHA requirements for the use and storage of cleaning products, contributing to our commitment to sustainability.
- Report any faults or damage to a member of the hostel management team, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
- Sort and distribute used and unused linen, playing a key role in our guests' comfort.
