About the Role

We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to provide support and companionship to our clients in their homes. As an evening Care Professional with Home Instead, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, providing emotional support, and assisting with daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities and conversations that promote their well-being
  • Assist clients with meal preparation and cooking, ensuring they receive nutritious and delicious meals
  • Transport clients to appointments, activities, and social events, promoting their independence and mobility
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and progress, ensuring seamless communication with the care team

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to scheduling and client needs
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with care management software
