About the Role

The Chief Operating Officer is a critical role on the Board of Directors, responsible for driving and sustaining improvement in all of our essential access, quality, and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic and operational initiatives to enhance patient care and experience
  • Develop and implement effective operational plans to achieve business objectives
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to drive cultural and organizational change
  • Manage budgets and resources to deliver savings and improve efficiency
  • Lead improvements and recovery programs to deliver better outcomes
Requirements
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree or relevant equivalent experience
  • Experience of working in the NHS at a senior strategic and operational level
  • Experience of managing budgets and delivering savings
  • Experience of leading improvements and recovery programs
