About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Operating Officer to join our team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. As a critical member of our Board of Directors, you will be responsible for driving and sustaining improvement in our essential access, quality, and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Manage and oversee the delivery of operational services across the trust
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to identify and address areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement effective change management strategies to drive cultural and operational change
  • Provide leadership and guidance to senior teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled individual with a strong track record of delivering operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have:

Degree level education or equivalent experienceMaster's degree or relevant equivalent experienceExperience of working in the NHS at a senior strategic and operational levelExperience of managing budgets and delivering savingsExperience of leading improvements and recovery programmes to deliver better outcomes
