Job Overview

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a skilled professional to join our Asset Management Team as a Clerk of Works. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and standards of repairs, maintenance, and other work carried out by the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control the quality and standards of work to meet internal and external customer expectations.
  • Work closely with the Asset Management Team to ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that all work is aligned with the council's strategic objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their roles effectively.

Requirements

  • Hold a current valid driving licence.
  • Be able to work outwith normal hours, including on standby/call out and some evening and weekend working.
  • Be committed to delivering a high-quality service to customers.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work effectively in a team environment.
