About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Specialist to join our team at Nuffield Health St Bartholomew's Hospital. As a Cath Lab Specialist + Rotational Radiographer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services for a varied caseload within the cardiac cath lab, CT, and MRI departments.
  • Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice, including Siemens equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment, and facilities to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programs to maintain the highest standards of care.
  • Provide input to the review, update, and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes.
  • Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
  • Participate in Cath lab, X-ray, and CT on-call rota, responding promptly to on-call activations within one hour.
Requirements
  • BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent) and a postgraduate qualification.
  • More than 3 years' experience in a variety of Cath lab procedures.
  • Experience in either Cardiac CT or MRI.
  • Excellent communication and team working abilities.
  • Proactive and forward-thinking approach to work.
  • Ability to work within IRMER and own scope of practice, in accordance with the code of conduct set out by the HCPC.
