Role Overview: The primary responsibility of the Project Cost Analyst is to support the organization in various cost estimation tasks, from comprehensive project assessments to individual component evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver precise historical cost data and analytical reports to assist in resource management, future planning, and project outcome predictions.
  • Lead the formulation of realistic cost estimates to facilitate project development and oversight.
  • Incorporate insights from relevant teams to ensure project delivery aligns with budgetary constraints.
  • Develop a comprehensive database of previous project costs and forecasting tools to guide future proposals.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Management, Design, Finance, Procurement, and Production Control on cost estimates and production assessments.
  • Engage with Fabrication, Machine, and Integration teams during the estimation process as necessary.
  • Utilize ERP systems to extract pertinent data for cost comparison analyses.
  • Demonstrate the ability to generate estimates with appropriate accuracy based on project requirements and timelines (including Nuclear, ROM, Preliminary, and Bid Estimates).
  • Exhibit adaptability in compiling and presenting data tailored to specific bid requirements.
  • Possess a creative mindset with a solid grasp of construction methodologies and materials.
  • Assist with additional project tasks as assigned, such as Cost to Complete (CTC) assessments.
  • Comply with all company safety protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions as necessary.
  • Execute assigned responsibilities in accordance with company policies and expectations.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in any discipline or a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in project controls, construction, cost estimation, bidding, or proposal development.
  • Familiarity with ERP software and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
