About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Pentagon Motor Group. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify defects and symptoms of impending failure.
  • Examine vehicles to report on their condition, safety, and reliability, and provide recommendations for maintenance and repairs.
  • Protect vehicles under repair from damage and ensure they are returned to customers in a clean and safe condition.
  • Attend training courses to stay up-to-date with the latest diagnostic techniques and technologies.
  • Assist in the training of apprentices and provide guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Ensure all service and maintenance records are accurately completed and signed off.
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 City and Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair.
  • Experience in diagnostics and using computer systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Positive attitude and strong team player mentality.
  • Ability to work to a high standard and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn and develop.
