We are seeking an experienced and dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant to join our team at NYKays Recruitment Ltd. As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with profound and multiple learning difficulties in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to children with PMLD and SEN, promoting their learning and development.
- Work closely with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Support colleagues in undertaking personal care tasks, ensuring the well-being and safety of students.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional development.
- Adhere to school policies, including Safeguarding, Child Protection, Behaviour Management, and Health and Safety.
- Experience of supporting children with PMLD and SEN on a 1:1 basis.
- Proven track record of supporting students with complex needs in a demanding environment.
- Commitment to working with children with special educational needs.
- Ability to manage challenging behavior and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and develop effective professional relationships.
- Dependable, punctual, and hardworking individual with a passion for working with children with special needs.
