About the Role

Caval Limited is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of district heating projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Senior Site Engineer in setting out plots of land on district heating projects
  • Interpret engineering drawings and establish site reference points
  • Collaborate closely with on-site management and subcontractors to ensure strict adherence to design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Ensure the project is completed efficiently and to the highest industry standards
Requirements
  • HND Civil Engineering
  • CSCS Card
  • Background and good understanding of setting out on groundworks/construction projects
  • Willingness and drive to learn and perfect your craft, gaining a bigger understanding of civil engineering and setting out
Additional Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective time management
  • Ability to learn and build on previous experience
  • Skillful in maintaining high-quality standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in utilising construction management software, CAD tools, and other relevant technology
