Job Details

This role involves working with children in a lunchtime setting, providing support and supervision to ensure their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise children during lunchtime to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Provide a clean and pleasant environment for children to eat in.
  • Model values of co-operation and caring to children.
  • Liaise with other staff members to ensure effective communication.
  • Follow the Trust's Behaviour for Learning policy.
  • Follow the school's ethos in speaking with children.
  • Structure and stimulate play activities.
  • Supervise children while they eat their meal.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the dining area during the service.
  • Refer any pupils who have had an accident or feel unwell to the Welfare Officer.
  • Attend staff training as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with children of varying ages and abilities.
  • Knowledge of child development and learning principles.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
