Management Accountant

Job Summary:
IN2Consult is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Management Accountant to join their team for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established media company, providing financial support and expertise to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Closing all ledgers, including revaluation journals, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Preparing aged debtors reconciliation and collaborating with Production Finance and Corporate Finance teams to resolve aged balances.
- Reviewing bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Preparing Fixed Asset reconciliation to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Reviewing inter-production reconciliations with productions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Preparing VAT reconciliation and investigating and correcting reconciling items to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Facilitating company recharges to/from production on a periodic basis to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Preparing Quarterly VAT returns to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Providing ad hoc management information data preparation to support business decision-making.
- Supporting senior accountants with process improvements and month-end close to enhance financial efficiency.
Requirements:
- Part-qualified accountant with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong MS Excel skills to analyze and present financial data.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.
