About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated pharmacist to join our team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our medicines management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the clinical pharmacy service provided to inpatient services and the dispensary
  • Handle medicines information questions and work with clinical trials, policy, and procedure development
  • Provide bespoke patient-centred pharmacy care to individuals requiring it
  • Participate in medicines reconciliation and medication interviews with service users
  • Support the education and training of medicines matters for CPFT staff and service users
Requirements
  • Pharmacy degree from a recognised university
  • Registered practicing pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • At least 2 years' post-registration employment as a pharmacist
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy
  • Post-graduate certificate in Psychiatric Therapeutics
  • Experience of working in hospital pharmacy and mental health pharmacy
