We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our team at Bright Horizons Hinchley Wood Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years education and care to our children, while ensuring the smooth operation of the nursery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of early years professionals to deliver outstanding care and education to children
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the quality of care and education
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children and staff
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve outstanding Ofsted ratings and improve the overall performance of the nursery
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of the nursery and support their career progression

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Experience in an Early Years leadership role, ideally as a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, or Assistant Manager
  • Experience of participating in regulatory inspections and achieving Good or Outstanding outcomes
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues, parents, and external partners
