About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at BAO London. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dishes and contributing to the success of our award-winning restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu development and implementation
  • Manage kitchen operations, including prep schedules, stock control, and budgeting
  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing training and guidance as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef in a high-quality restaurant
  • Strong awareness of trends and seasonality of produce
  • Highly creative approach to cooking with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage, train, and motivate a kitchen team
  • Experience with scheduling and reviewing staff rotas
  • Working knowledge of health and safety, compliance, and procedures
