About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and efficient individual to join our team as an Early Years Sufficiency and Data Officer. This role will involve providing and analysing data to support robust planning to meet the local authority's legal duty under Section 6 of the Childcare Act 2006.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing and analysing data to support planning and decision-making
  • Assisting the local authority to meet the requirements of the National Wraparound Childcare Programme
  • Assisting with the production and publishing of the Annual Childcare Sufficiency Assessment
  • Undertaking local sufficiency assessments to determine supply and demand of early years and childcare provision
Requirements
  • Experience of extracting, analysing and presenting data
  • Experience of working at a high level in a customer-focussed environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident IT skills in a range of software packages
  • Sound knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection
  • Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team
  • Ability to problem solve
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification or relevant experience
