Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our busy Maintenance Team at Marshalls PLC.
About the Role:As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment. You will work on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Eliminate downtime through safe and logical fault finding and maintenance of equipment
- Work on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance activities
- Good mechanical working knowledge with electrical experience
- Time served/apprentice trained in a similar position ideally with Electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3 or equivalent)
- Thorough understanding of the IEE 18th edition
- Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Practical hands-on approach
- Significant experience, understanding, and knowledge of the maintenance of a variety of plant
- Experience in electrical fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance activities
- Ability to interrogate/understand maintenance problems to provide accurate plant condition information/recommendations
- Excellent communication skills, dealing with operatives, Team leaders from both maintenance and production
