Job Opportunity: Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will provide learning support and academic guidance to autistic students studying at Kingston University.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one study skills support to students, focusing on comprehension skills within reading and writing.
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Collaborate with university staff to ensure seamless support and guidance.
  • Offer flexible in-person and online sessions to accommodate student preferences.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of autism and learning support principles.
  • Flexibility to travel to the university or college as required.
