Supply Planner Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Planner to join our client's successful team in Hemel Hempstead. As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing all supply chain activities, managing supplier relationships, and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient supply plans to ensure smooth operation of supply activities
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal pricing and service levels
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate item allocation and stock management
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve issues with the engagement of all stakeholders
  • Plan and execute key promotional events, including product launches and peak periods
  • Schedule and lead regular review meetings with internal teams and external partners
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure timely and accurate information sharing
  • Align with internal teams to adapt to forecast changes and ensure consistent communication
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in FMCG, Retail, or Food industries
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and lead effective resolutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Process-driven with a track record of managing change and driving continuous improvement
