Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing specialist care to patients across Ortho, Spinal, General, and ENT areas during the perioperative period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the theatres, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Act as a mentor to support staff and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Provide a streamlined service to patients and consultants, ensuring excellent patient care and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with consultants and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate fully as a team member, sharing knowledge and information to promote a cohesive team and achieve team objectives.

Requirements

  • Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualified.
  • Postgraduate experience in UK theatres.
  • Anaesthetics experience.
  • Anaesthetics course.
  • Ability to ensure safety for patients and colleagues.
