About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Admissions Manager to join our team at Inspired Education Group. As a key member of our admissions team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Admissions in driving student recruitment and retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication and Outreach: Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, prospective students, and feeder schools to ensure accurate and timely information and advice regarding admission to our school.
  • Visit Coordination: Ensure the smooth running of visits and conduct tours of the school in and out of term time as required, showcasing our school's unique culture and academic offerings.
  • Service Standards and Quality Assurance: Ensure service standards and quality assurance procedures are met and evolve with parent expectations and needs, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Admissions Strategy and Conversion: Assist the Senior Leadership Team in implementing best practice processes to increase retention and optimize achievement of student recruitment targets, with significant accountability for conversion from enquiry to application and application to enrolment.
  • Network Development: Generate and maintain a close network of partners, prospective parents, students, feeder schools, partner organizations, colleges, local businesses, agents, and visitors to the school, fostering strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate data in school systems, enabling responsive decision-making through the enrolment process and accurate forecasting during annual planning.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Assist the Head of Admissions in planning, coordinating, and implementing a successful programme of UK and overseas events, including recruitment fairs, open mornings, taster days, exhibition events, and alumni gatherings.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets, format, location, catering, invitations, publicity, and bookings for admissions-related events, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Ambassadorship: Act as an ambassador, representing the school in engagements relating to admissions with key external stakeholders and embodying the values and ethos of Inspired Education Group.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
  • Understanding of Sales and Marketing Principles: An understanding of the principles of sales and marketing, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a school admissions context.
  • Customer Advocacy and Retention: Understanding of and ability to build strong customer advocacy and repeat client loyalty and retention, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Professional Development: A commitment to professional development of self, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Evidence of excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate effectively and build confidence and credibility at senior levels.
  • Organizational and Administrative Skills: Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage a varied workload.
  • Confidentiality and Problem-Solving: An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and excellent problem-solving and resolution abilities.
  • Personable and Confident: Personable and confident, with a high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • IT Competency: Highly competent using a range of IT systems, including MIS & data analytics tools, with competency in data analysis and interpretation skills.
