We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at HK Recruitment. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing and assisting with all financial company needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and external providers to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Review and coding of invoices using Sage 200 to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and implement financial policies to maintain a robust financial framework.
  • Maintain the expense side of the cash book on the accounting system and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with employee queries and expenses to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Manage petty cash and corporate credit cards to maintain financial control.
  • Maintain compliant policies and procedures regarding income to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly annual income reports to provide financial insights.
  • Reconcile bank and online donations to ensure accurate financial records.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Process gift aid claims to maximize charitable donations.
  • Assist with budgeting to ensure financial planning and forecasting.

Requirements:

  • Part ACCA or ACCA qualified preferred to ensure strong financial knowledge.
  • Knowledge of UK Accounts to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Experience in a similar Accounts assistant role to demonstrate relevant skills.
  • To be an evangelical Christian and partake in prayer mornings and devotions to align with our organization's values.
  • People person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Sage to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • It literate to stay up-to-date with financial software and systems.
  • Team player with a collaborative and supportive attitude.
