Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.
Main Responsibilities- Assess patient care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care.
- Ensure that agreed standards of nursing practice are maintained within the ward/department area.
- Adhere to Trust, Divisional, and Ward/Department Health & Safety Policies.
- Maintain personal contact with patients, other healthcare disciplines, relatives, and visitors.
- Undertake enhanced roles, following necessary training, e.g. safe custody and administration of drugs, in accordance with Trust Policy.
- Flexible working hours to suit your needs.
- Paid induction, mandatory updates, and ongoing training/CPD.
- Access to NHS Pension.
- Free uniform.
- Registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Diploma/degree in nursing studies or working towards.
- Undertaken mentorship training.
- Relevant experience in the past 12-18 months of looking after patients in a healthcare environment.
- Previous NHS experience within the last 12 months.
- Previous experience within an Acute setting.
- Broad clinical knowledge base.
