Team Expansion: To accommodate the growing demands of our business, we are expanding our Installations Team. We are seeking a dedicated Installation Supervisor to oversee and support our installation teams and clients.

Role Overview: As an Installation Supervisor, you will lead by example, holding the responsibility and authority to manage all direct and indirect personnel on-site, including third-party contractors engaged by Selwood.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are communicated and adhered to by your team.
  • Verify that all equipment is suitable for use prior to the commencement of installations.
  • Work on construction sites, managing potential risks in your work environment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, as you will participate in an on-call rota and may be required to work overtime beyond the standard 40-hour work week, providing opportunities for enhanced earnings.

Safety and Compliance: This position is subject to a safety-critical medical assessment.

Project Management: You will supervise all facets of the solution/sales project from inception to completion, collaborating closely with the solutions/sales team.

Communication: Maintain regular updates with the Installation Manager regarding installation progress and any potential challenges.

On-Site Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site RAMS processes, ensuring all risks are identified and appropriate control measures are implemented.
  • Communicate the installation methodology to all site personnel and clients at every stage.
  • Supervise the daily activities of Installation Operatives and subcontractors while assisting drivers with loading and unloading tasks.

Qualifications:

  • A valid Full UK driving license with fewer than 6 penalty points is essential.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Site Supervision is advantageous.
  • SSSTS - Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme certification is preferred.
  • Forklift license and CSCS gold card are beneficial.
  • National Water Hygiene Card is a plus.
  • Experience in the hire or water-related industry is desirable but not mandatory.
