The Role

We are seeking a skilled Paraplanning Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Planning Team, you will be responsible for developing financial solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise will be essential in preparing recommendations and producing suitability reports that adhere to consumer duty principles and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop financial solutions that meet the needs of our clients, working closely with the Financial Planning Team to prepare recommendations and produce suitability reports.
  • Maintain full client records, gather data, and prepare and submit application forms in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with the Administration Team to ensure all necessary information is available for suitability reports.
  • Act as a knowledge bank for technical queries and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Record client communications and identify areas for financial planning and developing solutions to meet client needs.
  • Liaise with product providers and other third parties to acquire additional information as required.
  • Deal with technical or general queries from clients in a professional and FCA-compliant manner.
Requirements
  • Level 4+ Financial services qualifications, with RO exams being a plus.
  • 4-5 years of Paraplanning experience, with the ability to write multiple suitability reports per week.
  • Familiarity with consumer duty principles and the ability to put them at the heart of everything we do.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of £45,000 to £50,000, depending on experience.
