Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineering Tutor

Total People is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Tutor to join our team. As an Engineering Tutor, you will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and assessing students in a classroom and workshop environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering and be able to deliver high-quality teaching and coaching to students. You will work closely with other Learning Coaches to ensure that students receive a comprehensive education and are prepared for their future careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and coaching to students in a classroom and workshop environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and employers.
  • Work closely with other Learning Coaches to ensure that students receive a comprehensive education.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers to ensure that students are prepared for their future careers.
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality learning materials.

Requirements:

  • Relevant occupational sector experience and relevant qualifications (at a level 3 or higher than delivery).
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths, and ICT or equivalent, or willing to undertake.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, effective coaching that meets learner needs.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and interactive teaching in the workshop to meet learners needs.
  • Excellent level of skills in written and oral and presentational areas, understanding the importance of focus on the audience to support learning.
