About the Role

Arcus Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a Cleaning and Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within our Sainsbury's stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery and equipment to ensure efficient cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning activities, including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping, to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers.
  • Perform tasks such as cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies, as well as maintaining trolley bays and outdoor areas.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied and followed at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience is beneficial, but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • An eye for detail and cleanliness is essential.
  • A positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service is required.
  • A smartphone with the capability to access the Arcus Connect App is necessary for recording time and attendance.
