Psychologist - Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team as a Crisis Pathway Lead. As a key member of our Mental Health Hospital Liaison Team and Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team, you will play a vital role in driving service development and providing clinical leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Service Development: Collaborate with team managers and senior practitioners to drive service development and improve patient outcomes.
- Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical supervision and consultation to colleagues, and ensure that systems are in place for the clinical and professional supervision of other psychologists.
- Service Evaluation: Undertake service evaluation, audit, research, and policy development to inform service improvement.
- Autonomous Practice: Work as an autonomous professional within BPS and HCPC guidelines and codes of conduct, and guided by principles and policies or procedures of the service.
- Qualifications: Entry-level qualification in Applied Psychology (professional Doctorate, or combination of MSc plus PG Diploma level additional training) that has been accepted by the HCPC for purposes of professional registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
- Experience: Evidence of having worked as a clinical specialist under supervision in crisis or acute mental health settings, and/or physical health settings.
- Skills: Highly developed knowledge of the theory and practice of specialised psychological therapies, and ability to deliver psychological therapy across cultural and other differences.
