Position Overview: We are currently looking for a dedicated Substance Misuse Support Specialist to join our team at Red Sector Recruitment Limited. This role is focused on providing essential support to individuals navigating their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients from their initial engagement with the service through to their recovery process.
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and develop personalized recovery plans while facilitating referrals to additional services.
- Work towards minimizing the impact of substance misuse on clients and the surrounding community.
- Encourage involvement from caregivers, clients, and the community in the recovery process.
- Collaborate with clients to foster social reintegration, empowering them to lead fulfilling and purposeful lives by promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
Requirements: An Enhanced DBS check for both Adults and Children will be necessary for this role.
