Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team in Cambridge, UK. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for procurement across Frontier's operations in Cambridge, UK and Winnipeg, Canada, reporting directly to the Head of Financial Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Procurement team, including line management of Procurement Specialists.
  • Identifying and delivering tangible results through cost reduction and service performance.
  • Working with the Head of Financial Operations in managing overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the organisation.
  • Reviewing and assisting with Requests For Proposals (RFPs) to ensure the best outcomes for Frontier's procurement efforts.
  • Regularly reviewing procedures and processes to ensure control, compliance, and efficiency across the Procurement function.
  • Providing additional support and expertise to the Procurement Specialists in respect of licencing renewals and managing external talent negotiations.
  • Assisting with high value contract renewals, including the review of commercial terms and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience and track record in leading successful procurement efforts, preferably with experience in managing a team.
  • Broad procurement experience with particular emphasis on indirect procurement.
