Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Radiologist to join our team at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing our existing radiology service, with a focus on general radiology and cross-sectional imaging.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology, with experience in subspecialties such as Uro Radiology, Gynae Radiology, Paediatric Radiology, and MSK Radiology. They will also be expected to take part in the training and supervision of junior radiologists allocated to the Department.

The post will involve working at various sites within the Trust, including the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, which is set to open in 2024. The successful candidate will be required to work at any of the Trust's sites, with minimal cross-site travel.

We are looking for a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in MSK, Uro-radiology, Gynae, and Paediatrics. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of our radiology service, working closely with our existing consultant group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop the existing radiology service
  • Take part in the training and supervision of junior radiologists
  • Work at various sites within the Trust, including the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital
  • Contribute to the development of our radiology service

Requirements:

  • Strong background in radiology
  • Experience in subspecialties such as Uro Radiology, Gynae Radiology, Paediatric Radiology, and MSK Radiology
