Senior Care Assistant on Nights

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team on night shifts at Lime Trees Care Home in Shrewsbury. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, including personal care, medication management, and mobility assistance.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to the care team.
  • Participate in care planning and implementation, ensuring individualized care plans are met.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • At least 12 months experience as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader in a Residential Care Home setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
