Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team at a lovely school in Marlow. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their learning, both within and outside of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with their learning, both within and outside of the classroom
- Work with small groups to support classroom activities
- Work one-to-one with individual pupils to support their needs
- Assist the class teacher with the management and setup of lessons
- Take pupils outside of the classroom when necessary for their learning
- Support pupils with specific Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as Autism, ADHD, or mobility issues
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or in a school setting
- Good knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN) or a passion to develop
- Able to manage challenging behavior
- Able to commit to working fixed days, full-time or part-time
- Has a clear and valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check on the update service or willing to obtain one
