This role is pivotal within our Athena analytics division, which is centered on the development of pricing mechanisms and high-efficiency risk management infrastructure for our cutting-edge risk management platform.
Position Summary:
In the capacity of Vice President, Risk Platform Quantitative Developer within the Quantitative Research, Athena team, your focus will encompass pricing and risk analysis, product-specific evaluations, software engineering, and collaboration with global Quantitative Research teams, trading desks, and various stakeholders to prioritize and oversee project workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute intricate projects in collaboration with stakeholders, including Quantitative Research teams, trading, market risk, middle office, technology, and operational groups.
- Design and enhance pricing and risk models for derivatives, implementing solutions in Python.
- Contribute to the evolution of our core risk management frameworks within Athena.
- Engage with the Athena developer community to foster the growth and development of the platform.
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative expertise.
- In-depth understanding of derivative pricing, risk management, and the operational processes of a derivative trading environment.
- Experience with pricing libraries and risk management frameworks.
- Proficiency in utilizing large-scale computational infrastructure to optimize risk assessments.
- Strong product knowledge in at least one asset class.
- Proven leadership capabilities in a technical context.
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming.
- Exceptional software development skills, with experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable software solutions.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a multi-location environment.
- Excellence in probability theory, stochastic processes, partial differential equations, and numerical analysis.
- Relevant experience in similar roles within Quantitative Research or Strategy supporting large enterprises.
- Proficiency in C++ programming.
