About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team at Fawkes & Reece on an exciting new project.

This is a superb opportunity for a skilled professional looking to further advance their career in a leading Tier 1 Main contractor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and financial reports to ensure accurate project budgeting.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and team members to achieve project goals.
  • Assist in contract administration and dispute resolution to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and negotiate final accounts to ensure timely project completion.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
  • Industrial and ground work (deep earthworks) experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of working for a main contractor or similar size.
  • In-depth knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contracts.
  • Excellent IT skills across Microsoft suites.
